A grey but certainly not a dull day for Nicola & Richards Wedding at the Dunedin Club.
It was the height of summer, but the sun had decided to hide. That I can tell you made no difference to the mood, fun and laughter of bride, her bridal party and the groom too!!
A family who clearly love each other very much, and know how to have a laugh at every turn, and even at themselves.
The girls preparations were so much fun too, made all the more fun and easier to shoot having Lisa (a family friend to them) working her magic as the videographer.

It was really such fun to be a part of their day, totally caught up in the infectious smiles, and continuous laughter, getting ready, through the ceremony and long into the night.
And as I thought it couldn't get any better, we ended up on a spectacular rooftop for their portrait shoot, with THE best light ever..(other photographers will get my ridiculous excitement!)
And to add to that they were amazing in front of the camera. It's not an easy job to be in front of it, so hats off to them, in the cold and sideways rain too!
